Got a phone call from some Rosie working in a busy call centre. The woman on the line spoke English with an Indian accent and wanted my sort code. I decided to mess with her while I was placing my bets on the horses. I asked her to pick a number between 1 and 15, saying it would choose a horse for me. No surprise, she hung up straight away. Honestly, scammers like that are just hilarious, aren’t they?

I got a phone call from this number, an Asian bloke speaking about my boiler. I could hear loads of people chatting in the background, sounded like a call centre. They said they’d post some documents out and wanted to check my direct debit info. They asked for my sort code and to confirm my account number. I told them I wasn’t giving that info. Then another guy came on, claiming to be a supervisor, but still wouldn’t take no for an answer. I ended up hanging up. They rang straight back, so I just blocked the number.

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I tried looking it up to see who it might be. Turns out, it was a scam! If someone calls and stays silent, that’s usually a big red flag. Trust me, don’t bother calling them back! Once you know it’s dodgy, just be glad you didn’t fall for their trick. Lucky escape!

When I picked up, there was no reply from the caller, but I could hear some loud voices in the background that sounded Asian. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam.
