I got a call from this number saying they were from the University of Exeter and mentioned a master's course I finished. They said they'd emailed me about some university results and needed me to fill in a survey. It sounded fishy straight away, so I asked what email they sent it to. They gave me an old email address I haven’t really used in ages. I told them I’d look into it and ring the uni myself the following day. After reading others’ experiences, I reckon I’ll just block this number.

Got a call from this number the other day. A bloke said he was ringing on behalf of Exeter council, wanting to know if I was happy with my home and how I found living there. Right away, I felt a bit off about it. The man had an Aussie accent, which was odd. I've never had the council just call me up unexpectedly to ask stuff like that before. Just a heads up to be cautious.

This number keeps ringing but no ones there, starting to get really annoyed now.

Got a call today from 01392-303092 on my landline around 12:50pm GMT (10th Feb 2021). They didn’t leave any voicemail. This isn’t the first time either, they rang me once before on 10th December 2020, about 10:25am. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

They didn’t drop a message, so I didn’t bother ringing back.

Today I got a phone call about loft installation, but the strange thing is, it was for a place I've never lived at. Kinda makes me anxious that maybe my info’s been used by someone else.

Warm Loft. Being based in the Exeter postcode, I immediately knew this was a local Exeter number. They told me a story about my old loft insulation provider being removed for poor work and said their company had been sent to inspect and see if anything needed fixing. Funny thing is, they couldn't tell me the name of the original firm. When I asked what the cost would be if they did find issues, the call was just abruptly ended. It sounded quite legit and no doubt some folks might fall for it. Best to avoid them entirely!

Funny thing is, I only got a single call in December. Makes me wonder if folks are giving out phone numbers linked to popular scammers.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from Cozy Lofts in Exeter saying she was checking on the loft insulation I supposedly had done recently. Thing is, I haven’t had any loft insulation done in like 30 years. So I rang the number back just to check, and a bloke answered saying he was working from a call centre near Birmingham. Both calls came from an 01392 code though, which made the whole thing pretty baffling.

Don’t trust this lot, they’re from Milton Keynes, which is near London. They offer a free loft inspection, but it’s all a ploy to push you spray foam products. Total waste of time and not a genuine company at all.

They just rang about doing a free loft inspection, got it scheduled for tomorrow.

Lofts that are cosy? Sounds interesting! What kind of place is that?

Got a call from 01392 3039092 earlier, but luckily my Call Minder stopped it. The number’s from Exeter, and I’m in EX31, which I saw someone else mention before. I’d been asking about that new Green Homes scheme lately, so I’m worried this might be one of those scams trying to trick people about insulation or something similar. Definitely seems dodgy!

Whenever I pick up, there’s just silence, which to me screams autodialler. I don’t hang about on the line, especially if it feels like it’s probably a dodgy call - like 99% of the time it is. And honestly, if you’re on the TPS list, it seems only the dodgy ones still bother calling. Paper tigers, if you ask me!

the other day I got a call from a lady who wanted to talk about checking my loft insulation. I was a bit iffy about it initially, but hey, a free inspection can’t hurt. in the end, they didn’t find anything wrong which was a relief.

Got a call from some bloke asking about loft insulation. He was all over the place, like wondering if folks around here even manage to sleep at night and stuff. Honestly, what’s the point? Pretty weird questions, if you ask me.

A young woman rang me up, really chatty, saying she needed to inspect some dodgy insulation in the house. She claimed it was urgent and had to be done straight away. We're shielding here, but she kept insisting someone had to come over. Feels like a scam to me.

They called me two times today. First call, as soon as I asked who was calling, they just dropped the line. Second time, the moment I picked up, they immediately ended the call. Total waste of time, honestly.
