This bloke with an Asian accent rang me claiming to be from Openreach. I told him I actually work there and asked for his ID number so I could verify him, but he wouldn’t give it. Seemed dodgy, like he was trying to get into my computer and router. So I just ended the call straight away.

There was so much background noise, i couldn't quite catch who they said they were from. It started like your typical spam call, all polite asking how my day had been. I just said i wasn't interested and ended the call.

Apparently it was BT Openreach calling, or so they said!
