I received a series of phone calls from an individual purporting to represent BT, insisting that there were issues with my internet connection. They were quite pushy, almost to the point of being confrontational. In just a quarter of an hour, I was bombarded with five calls, each time from a different phone number, all inquiring about the devices connected to my broadband. It felt very suspicious!
