I asked where he got my number from and he said it’s on their system. I told him to remove it and then I hung up. They initially presented themselves boldly with their name, yet there was a distinct lack of transparency regarding the source of the phone number they were using. Got a call from a company named Spencer Data, says they do market research. It was a recorded message, but at least it let me put in the mobile number I want to stop getting calls on. I was ringin' from work when it happened. They gave me the option to opt out of calls to that number later on, so fingers crossed it actually works. Will see how it goes! Caller said it was Spencer Data.
