Got a call at 7:45 am from someone saying they were with BT, warning me about a supposed issue with my router that could be risky. But the moment I challenged them, they just hung up the phone.

Woke up to a phone at 7.45am from some muppet claiming to be from BT or Openreach, saying there was an issue with my router. I just told him straight he was a scammer and gave him a piece of my mind before he ended the call. Could even hear other dodgy voices chatting away in the backgroud, probably more scammers.

Somebody rang pretending to be from bt openreach, saying there was a problem with my line because of strange activity on my router. I called him out straight away and then asked for his name and his manager’s number to report a problem with an outside phone line. He just dropped the call after that.

I answered and there was no one on the other end. Seems like a spam call to me.
