I didn't feel quite right about the whole thing, so I turned him down. A quick search online revealed that he's apparently known for scamming people. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I’m really concerned this might be some sort of scam targeting my elderly mum, who’s 86 and has dementia. It felt especially nasty how the caller just dropped the call. From what I’ve read on here, it could be some insurance renewal call, probably from someone working on commission who didn’t bother wasting time on me.
