Sounds like one of those call centres masking their real number as a local one. I’m based in the 01389 code, but from what I’ve seen here, folks all over the UK are getting calls from this same number. They never left me a voicemail either - anyone who really wants to reach me always does leave one. I’ve actually worked at call centres that do this kind of number spoofing before.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Bank of Scotland, saying they needed to go over my bank account details. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be 'Andrew' at the Bank of Scotland. Seemed a bit off, so I didn’t trust it. Probably just another scam or trying to get my details. Always better to be safe than sorry with calls like that!
