Somebody rang saying they were from a loft insulation company, saying they were based somewhere in western Scotland and spoke with a Scottish accent. Seems like a new con on this number. I told them I’m on the TPS and that calling me like this is illegal since I’ve been signed up for ages, then the woman just hung up on me.

Clearly, this is an invasion of privacy. It's evident that it's a con, especially since it now states that the number doesn't exist.

I got a call saying there was a problem with my Windows and the guy said he would sort it out for me. He also claimed he'd called loads of times before but I never picked up. When I asked for the Microsoft contact number so I could ring back, he told me it was 0208 089 1330.

Too many phones buzzing with crooks these days - honestly, wish people just hung up straight away like in the old days.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from PC World and kept on asking what sort of computer I had. I told him I didn’t own one, and he just went off saying I was lying. Pure nonsense.
