Got a call yesterday from someone claiming my internet was being hacked from abroad. It sounded like a B T number. When I told them I knew about the issue already, they just ended the call straight away. Bit weird, really.

I got a call from a woman with an accent I couldn’t place, saying she was from Guaranteed Telecom. She kept insisting I needed to set up some nuisance call blocking and asked to "verify" my card info for the monthly phone charges. I was so caught up trying to make sense of what she was saying, I didn’t notice until after that she was asking for way too much personal stuff!

Some bloke rang up pretending to be from my internet company, but I quickly shut it down by asking him who my supplier was. He went on banging about BT and throwing in names of other firms, which was quite amusing. Told him honestly he’d be better off finding a proper job since he clearly wasn’t cut out for scamming.
