I received a rather insistent phone call from a lady sporting a Scottish brogue. She brought up a company called Oakcroft. Quite forceful in tone, she seemed intent on prying for my personal details.

I got a robotic message that said to wait for an operator and gave me an account number to quote. I hung up straight away and reported the number to 7726, which is the spam reporting service for my phone provider. Looks like some scammer was trying to con me!
