I got a call from someone claiming I was in a car crash, which is completely untrue! I told them straight up it was nonsense since I don’t even own a driving licence. Ended up blocking the number and reporting it to the TPS as well. What a load of rubbish!

Got a call from this number saying they’re from Amazon and that they’ll be taking £79.99 from my bank for some Amazon Prime thing I never joined. They told me to press 1 to talk to a manager, but I hung up straight away. Definitely seems like a scam to me!

Got a call claiming there’s been odd activity on my credit card linked to Amazon Prime, then some nonsense about cutting off my internet and owing taxes that haven’t been paid. It’s exhausting because they keep switching up their stories. The very first time it’s kinda worrying, but after hearing the same scam a bunch of times, I just end the call and move on. Still, part of me worries that one day I might brush off a proper warning by mistake.
