I got a call from a person claiming to be from Talk Talk saying my internet router was having issues. I told them I’m not actually a Talk Talk customer, but they told me to relax because apparently everything’s linked up. Then they started asking if the lights on my router were blinking or steady. It felt like they could tell I wasn’t pleased with the call because they ended it suddenly. When I tried ringing them back, the number was dead. Seems dodgy to me.

I called this number from Dumbarton out of curiosity, and when I asked the bloke why he’s got a Dumbarton contact, he said he’s actually based in South Africa. When he rang his main office in Dumbarton, they just rudely told him to get lost! Proper odd situation.

Someone with what sounded like an Asian accent kept ringing me, trying to sell energy plans. I clearly told them I’d sorted my energy and didn’t want any offers, plus I asked to be taken off their call list. Obviously, they didn’t listen. Luckily, I can block numbers on my phone, so it’s more of a hassle for them than me. Still, I’ve had about two calls every day for three days straight now. It’s starting to feel a bit like harassment, but nothing too bad yet. Hopefully, they’ll stop bugging me soon!
