It looked like it was from a local landline at first, but when I answered, there was an automatic recorded message claiming my bank had alerted me about two big transactions - one supposedly from Amazon and the other from some overseas account. It asked me to press 1 for one choice and 2 to talk to someone. I guessed straight away it was a dodgy scam call and I blocked the number right away.

They then asked to press 1 for one option or 2 to talk to an advisor. It was pretty clear to me that it was some kind of scam, so I just went ahead and blocked the number straight away.
