This number kept ringing me, claiming to be Virgin Media and telling me there was something wrong with my router. In just a day and a half, they’ve called about 15 times! I never bother to say hello now, I just wait for them to start talking, and most times the call cuts off straight away. Since my phone doesn’t show who’s calling, I have no choice but to pick up. I’m thinking of getting caller ID and a block on nuisance calls soon. Honestly, these callers have been really pushy and rude, and it’s been quite upsetting, especially as I’m an older person.

I got a call really early this morning, but when I answered, no one said a thing. After just sitting there quietly for what felt like ages, it ended with some kind of robotic message and then hung up.

Some bloke with an Asian accent called, claiming there was an issue with our router. I had already spoken to Virgin Media the previous day about the same problem, so I asked him to give me our account password to prove his identity. He said I didn’t need a password, which immediately raised red flags. I told him to bugger off, you dodgy scamming git. Watch out for these lot - they’re really pushy and this is the third time this week they’ve been on the blower trying the same trick.

This number called me a couple times before and I decided to pick up. It was a man with an Indian accent who couldn’t say my name right, and he even called me by my old last name! He claimed to be from Virgin Media and said there was an issue with my router, asking for some details. I told him everything was fine but he kept going on about corrupted files and needing info from me. I just ended the call straight away!

Got a call from someone with a really polite Indian accent claiming to be from Talk Talk. Said there was an issue with my router causing my computer to run slow. First, they asked how many devices were connected to my router. I told them if they had any concerns they should put it in writing because I don’t handle computer problems at home. Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying there was an issue with my router. I contacted Virgin Media myself and they told me they never made the call. After that, I reported it to the police who directed me to Action Fraud, and they said they’d investigate it further.

I got a call from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent claiming he was from "Virgin Media," telling me there was an issue with my broadband router. Thing is, I’m not even a customer of Virgin Media, and my internet’s been fine, so I was pretty wary of the whole thing. I humoured him for a good ten minutes, then suddenly said I’d noticed a strange message on my screen. I spelled out S C A M M E R S and asked him what that stood for. He wasn’t impressed and told me to piss off before hanging up on me.

I've had a fair few calls from this number now. The chap has an Asian accent and keeps asking for a Mr Clifford. My last name's Russell, and my first name's Clifford! He claims to be from Talk Talk, saying there's an issue that will lead to my broadband being cut off for a fortnight unless I rush to my laptop and log onto the website he provides! It’s clearly a scam! If I followed his instructions, he’d likely get access to my computer and siphon off my info. Quite dissatisfied with Talk Talk, as the details he has can only have come from their end!

I’ve had just about enough of receiving calls from this particular number-I've had two annoying interruptions already today. The caller always sounds like they’re from overseas and insists on addressing me as 'Mr' followed by my first name. It's really getting to a stage where I’m contemplating switching my broadband provider away from TalkTalk. Still, I can’t help but wonder if that would even make a difference, given how rampant these types of scams are becoming.

Yesterday I got a total of four calls from this number. Picked up twice, each time there was loads of background noise like from a call centre. The guy said there was an issue with my router, but I told him everything was working perfectly. He kept pushing, so in the end I just said it was a scam and ended the call.

Just like the others have said, this bloke with a weird accent, maybe Asian, keeps ringing and locking our phone line, so we lose the dial tone for a while. I ain’t with Talk Talk, told him that, but he keeps calling anyway. Once, I joked about sending a drone their way, and another time I tried my best Liam Neeson impression from “Taken”, saying I have some skills and know where to find them. That shut him right up, they hung up straight away!

I got a call from someone saying he was with Virgin Media, offering to sort out my router issues. When I asked for the serial number, he didn’t have a clue. I told him I actually use BT, but he kept insisting I was Virgin Media’s customer. I kept saying I’m with BT (which I’m not, by the way). He then said it didn’t matter and he could still help. Once I mentioned I only have a phone and no computer, he just hung up on me. After that, he rang me twelve times that same day and called another eight times the day after.

I keep getting calls from these idiots multiple times every day. When I told them I wasn’t with TalkTalk, they claimed they were authorised by internet providers to fix issues. I refused to continue, but the bloke insisted I stay on the line so he could get his supervisor. I played along, and the supervisor warned me it was urgent and if I didn’t let them fix it, my internet and computer would break down. Do they really think everyone’s daft?! I’ve reported the number to TPS and now hoping they’ll do something to stop these annoying calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media. I told them I couldn't talk right then and ask them to ring later. So, I phoned Virgin Media myself and turns out, it wasn't them at all. When the caller got back to me, I acted like I was interested, and soon enough they were pushing for remote access to my computer. I told him, "Look, if you're that keen, just stop the messing about and I’ll just hand over all my passwords," clearly knowing that was his real aim.
