Got a call claiming to be from BT, saying there was an attempt to hack into my system. They just wouldn’t stop ringing. After a while, they passed me through to a ‘senior manager’ with an Asian accent. I asked him to provide the IP addresses the supposed hackers were using so I could block them, and then he suddenly just cut me off! Definitely smelled like a scam to me.
