Got a call from a woman with a UK accent telling me BT will be cutting off my broadband if I don’t press 1 to speak with someone. Hung up straight away and blocked the number. No way I’m falling for that!

Had one of those dodgy calls today, someone asking me about shares I supposedly own. This isn’t the first time either - they always try and get your personal info. From what I’ve read online, if you let it go on, they’ll push you to transfer cash to some kind of escrow account. Total scam, watch out!
