9 yearsOn the 5th of Feb 201: I had this weird call from a bloke who said he was from TalkTalk, but I've actually got an open issue with them about something similar. As soon as I brought it up, the guy just hung up on me. I tried ringing back, but the number didn’t show up at all. After that, I got in touch with TalkTalk themselves and they told me they had no record of any call from that number. The person on the phone had an Asian accent and was a man.TalkTalk9 yearsgot a call on 30/01/18 from someone who sounded Indian, claiming they were from TalkTalk. before he could say much, i told him i wasn't interested and he just hung up. i don't use TalkTalk for either phone or internet. today, they called again while i was out, but my phone showed the number as saved.TalkTalk9 yearsGot a call claiming it was TalkTalk about issues with my broadband. I just signed up for a new plan with them to boost my internet speed. I asked a few questions and they just ended the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me.TalkTalk9 yearsGot a couple of calls from talk talk, sounded dodgy, probably a scam.9 yearsGot a second ring from someone claiming to be TalkTalk tech support, sounded like an Asian bloke telling me my internet was having issues. Freaky thing is, he knew my account number off the bat. I asked where he was calling from and he said Manchester, but when I made him name some big train stations there, he just dropped the call. The number showed up as Bishop Auckland, so definitely not legit. Looks like a proper scam trying to get control of my computer. Pretty unsettling really.TalkTalkManchesterBishopAuckland9 yearsToday, I got a call from this number but it sounded like one of those call centres from India, so I just ended the call. Later, when I tried to ring back, the number wouldn’t go through.Submit Your Own Report (01388 315487)
