Calling back led to an automated message pretending to be from the energy department, which looped endlessly and ended with a strange noise before hanging up.

Some bloke with a thick Indian accent rang me up saying he was from 3 Network and that my SIM would get deactivated in 4 days. I told him flat out that I knew he was lying and was just trying to scam me, but he kept going anyway.

I rang the number back but got some automated reply. It claimed to be from the energy office or something. I pressed 1 hoping to chat with someone but it just kept looping the same message over and over. Then the voice got all strange and suddenly the call just ended on its own.
