I got a message claiming to be from HSBC fraud team saying someone had set up a £900 direct debit to BT without my okay. They said I needed to call this number straight away. When I did, it went to a dodgy voicemail pretending to be HSBC and they asked for my bank info. I contacted HSBC myself and they confirmed it wasn’t from them at all.
