I reckon this number tries to keep you talking just to make some kind of money from it. It’s a bit unclear how exactly, but I've had calls from what sounds like the same call centre a bunch of times, pretending to be different companies. Seems pretty shady to me.

I got a call earlier from someone with a foreign accent claiming to be from Verso Group. When I asked how they found my number, they couldn't give me a proper answer but rapidly rattled off some contact info. Then they wanted to ask me some questions, but I told them I don’t take surveys from unknown numbers. I also asked them to take my details off their records. They agreed, thanked me, and I ended the call.

This bloke had a heavy accent and sounded pretty annoyed when I asked him to speak a bit slower and repeat himself. I was just trying to figure out who he was and told him I wasn’t interested. I also told him to stop calling because I’ve been getting loads of calls from them lately.
