Got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying there was a fault with my router and they’d cut off my internet straight away. When I asked them who they were, they actually knew my name, but I didn’t share any details and told them I’d call TalkTalk myself. I rang TalkTalk and they confirmed it was a scam. Don’t hand over any info like passwords to these kinds of callers. Definitely report them to TalkTalk if you get a call like that.
