For the last few months, this firm has been calling our shop almost every day now. The number even shares our local area code, so we usually pick up just in case it’s a customer. It’s always men speaking, with English accents, asking repeatedly for a Mrs McCormick. Since no one by that name works here, and we’re well and truly tired of it, we’ve even told them she’s passed away and buried - but it makes no difference. They claim to be some sort of wealth management company. A quick look earlier linked them to Dexbridge Communications from Manchester, which is well over 250 miles away from us. If you ring the number back, you can hear what sounds like a switchboard with people chatting, but after a bit, an automated message says the call has been disconnected. It’s just constant nuisance calls that disrupt our business and obviously, they have no intention of stopping.
