Today I got a call for my other half from some firm called Your Vehicle Consultant, asking about an 'accident' he supposedly had. We had to tell them he didn’t have one, but then the guy on the phone said something like “Tell the woman in the background to be quiet” after overhearing me chatting nearby. Totally sounds like a scam to me.

Complete scam! They said I was involved in a crash over two years ago and that I was due some compensation. Thing is, I’ve only been on the road for about a year and haven’t had any accidents at all! Straight to the blocked list with them!

Somebody called saying I'd been in a crash and that I was due £2,500 compensation. I told them that wasn't true and then they just cut the call off.
