Got a call from a local number starting with 01387, and it turned out to be a scam. They claimed I had £300 taken from my account for some Amazon purchase and also mentioned a money transfer of £1100. They said since I don't usually send money like this, I should press 1 to talk to someone about it. Total scam, scammers everywhere! How is it even possible for them to copy the local 01387 dialling code plus a random six-digit number afterward? Proper dodgy!
