I received a phone call from a gentleman who had a thick accent and asserted that he was representing TalkTalk, trying to address issues with our supposedly malfunctioning internet. He urged me to hit button 1 to be connected with one of their engineers. The thing is, we’re not even customers of TalkTalk!

Got a call from a bloke with a recorded English accent claiming he was from TalkTalk. He said my internet was about to be disconnected and told me to press 1 to speak to an engineer or press 2 to end it. Definitely just a scam, don’t fall for it.

I got a call from a man who said he was with BT, saying my internet and landline would be disconnected soon. He then told me to press ‘1’ for one thing or ‘2’ for another option. Sounds dodgy to me!

this number called me claiming to be from talktalk, but when i asked a few questions they just hung up. pretty sure it was a scammer trying their luck.
