i got a call from a robot sounding voice claiming to be from "british telecom" warning that my internet would be cut off today if i didn’t press a button. problem is, i don’t even use bt internet, just a phone line. i never press any buttons on dodgy calls, just hang up. i’ve now blocked the number so hopefully it stops. looks like those telephone preference lists don’t actually do much against these annoyances.
