I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise. Got a voice message saying my phone line was about to be disconnected and if I had questions, to press 1. Then the message repeated, claiming it was from BT. Total scam! Watch out, because this number has been linked to bank fraud before.

This call was a total scam pretending to be from the bank, asking me to press 1 or 2. Definitely don’t answer it, just hang up straight away!

Got a call saying they’d taken £300 out of my account plus another grand after that. Told me to press 1 to sort it out - total scam, stay well clear!
