I just received the identical text message!

I received a call today from someone claiming to be with CAPITOL RESOLVE, instructing me to ring back at either 01386314996 or 01386800203 regarding a debt collection on behalf of the DVLA.
Upon looking into the number they used, it turns out that while it shares the same area code, it's not actually the right number for Capitol Resolve.
Thank goodness I've got an answering machine; I prefer to let these calls go unanswered!

Received a call purporting to be from the DVLA, but when I reached out to them directly on their actual number, they didn’t seem the least bit concerned or willing to assist. Definitely has the whiff of a scam about it!

I've had multiple calls from 01386800203, and each time there's just an annoying pre-recorded message referencing the DVLA. This has happened about seven times now, which is rather frustrating!

I just got a dodgy text purportedly from the DVLA. Apparently, they’re requesting a payment for road tax on a car I offloaded four years back. What a cheek!

I keep receiving a recorded message intended for my brother, as he doesn’t reside with me. It’s from ‘Capital Resolve’, urging him to get in touch or dispatch a payment. This has happened three days consecutively, with two calls on this number and now today on 01386719130, which appears to be their usual contact number. Quite frustrating, to say the least!
