Claimed to be from pest control, but I straight-up told them they were the sole vermin in my house!

I missed the call and couldn't pick up in time. So, I dialled 1471 to find out who had rung me. However, when I tried to call the number back, it said it wasn't recognised. Quite peculiar, really!

I received a call from someone claiming there was an issue with my computer and that he could resolve it if I granted him access. He was quite evasive when I inquired about his company. I wasn’t inclined to entertain his offer, so I politely ended the conversation and hung up.

After a moment of quiet, they simply said, "farewell."
