I received a call from this number earlier today, claiming that I had a substantial debt with Amazon. Quite frankly, it was a load of nonsense! Definitely a bunch of scammers, so please stay vigilant!

When I refused to divulge personal details about my family or my employment status, he took umbrage and called me rude before abruptly ending the call! Quite suspicious, if you ask me. I advise against sharing any personal details in such situations!

Curious, I asked who they were and how they got hold of my number. Instead of answering, they just kept repeating, “How are you?” I turned to my wife, saying, “This is a bit odd,” and the caller picked up on that, asking, “Why is it odd to check on how I am?” and kept going on with that same question. I eventually decided to hang up. Felt a bit unsettling, to be honest.

The lady on the line then informed me that their team was on their break but would ring me back in about an hour. It was clear it was a bustling call centre in India.
