I received a phone call from 01386 871761, and it was just a pre-recorded message claiming that I'd gone over my complimentary Amazon Prime subscription. They mentioned some fee, around £90, though I can't recall the precise figure. I was then prompted to either press 1 or 2 to speak to someone about it. It struck me as dodgy, for sure.

I was browsing for life insurance estimates and, after about twenty minutes, my phone started ringing with this number.

Received a call with no voicemail left behind. Seems quite suspicious, likely a scam. Better not to engage. Other users seem to think the same, too.

Nuisance call, didn’t pick up. Received quite a few of these lately from various digits.

The number from Evesham hasn't responded at all.

A lad rang me up and inquired if I was "in the mood for a chat." When I asked him what it was regarding, he abruptly ended the call.

"I received a call asking if it was a suitable moment to chat, but they ended the call just moments later. Curious to note that the call got redirected, suggesting it's coming from a different number that's concealed behind this one."

Just called but no one picked up. I usually take a look on this site before anything else.

Utterly annoying, received a call but chose not to pick up.

I received a call where the individual inquired whether it was a convenient moment to chat, but then the line unexpectedly dropped.

A voice on the line inquired, "Is now a convenient moment for a chat?" I was in the midst of awaiting my oven delivery, so I responded with a polite, "Hello, yes," and then—boom—it cut off. It seems the automated system only caught the "yes" part to keep the conversation going. Quite clearly, this is a dodgy operation!

I didn't manage to pick up the phone, but I'm logging the number search right now.

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I chose to decline it. I don’t have any acquaintances in Evesham, you see. Ever since I made a purchase and had it sent via Royal Mail, I've been inundated with these dodgy calls. It makes me wonder if there’s a leak somewhere in their system, and someone’s peddling my number!

I enquired whether it was a suitable moment for a chat, but to my surprise, it turned out to be a pre-recorded message. When I requested to know who was on the line, they promptly disconnected. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and reported it.

A number rang my mobile today and inquired whether it was a suitable time for a chat. When I probed further about who was on the line, they abruptly disconnected. How odd! 😊

Foul play alert! Inquired if I had a moment to chat, but it's clearly a dodgy call. Total scam, can't stress that enough!

Oddly enough, I just purchased this SIM card today, yet I haven't shared the number with a soul. It seems that o2 may have already let my number slip into someone else's hands before I even had a chance to use it. Quite baffling, really!

Honestly, I've noticed this follows the trend of other remarks I've seen.

Why make a call instead of chatting, except for the classic, “Is this a good moment for a natter?”

I picked up the phone to find it had a bit of a lag before a young chap came on the line, casually inquiring if I had a moment to chat. I promptly replied 'not at all' and requested to know who was on the other end, but then the line just went silent.

Absolutely, I've had the exact same experience! They always start with, "Is this a convenient moment for a chat?" and the moment you begin to respond, they're already gone. It’s so frustrating!

I haven't the foggiest who that caller might have been. They started off by asking, "Is it a suitable moment to chat?" without so much as a name to go by. I responded with a curt "No," and they promptly ended the call. Quite bizarre, if you ask me.

I received a pre-recorded message inquiring, "Is this a suitable moment for a chat?" I chose not to respond, and shortly after, the call dropped. It seems to me it's likely one of those nuisance scam calls.

When I picked up, a voice on the other end asked if it was convenient to chat. I inquired about their identity, but then the call just dropped. I decided to ring back, concealing my number, yet all I got was a recorded message saying, "This number isn't in service." I've since blocked it.

I decided to pop onto the internet to compare some insurance quotes, and shortly thereafter, I received a phone call from this number. What a nuisance! I certainly didn't give them the green light to use my number for these unwanted calls. I chose not to pick up, as I had a hunch it was an insurance firm attempting to push their sales agenda on me.

I picked up a strange ringing sound, followed by someone inquiring, "Is this a suitable moment for a chat?" before the line went dead.

I picked up a ring from a number in Evesham, which I didn’t recognise. It barely rang before it was sent to a redirect. A voice, sounding rather youthful, popped through and asked, “Is this a convenient moment to chat?” I responded with a “Good afternoon,” only for the call to drop abruptly. It struck me that the chap might have been just a recording. A real bunch of time wasters, if you ask me!

Absolutely, I’ve experienced that as well. They always start with ‘Is this a suitable moment for a chat?’ and as soon as you utter a word, they just cut the line. Quite baffling, isn’t it?

I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a strange redirecting sound, followed by a young chap asking, "Is this a suitable moment for a chat?" It could have been a pre-recorded message, to be honest. When I inquired who was on the other end, the line abruptly cut off. How peculiar!

I picked up the call, yet there was absolute silence on the other end, and before I knew it, the caller had already disconnected.

Absolutely agree! They always ring, ask if it’s a suitable moment to chat, and then promptly disconnect. It’s so obviously a nuisance call. I’ve blocked the number without a second thought!

I had a similar experience recently; I received a call where the person asked if it was convenient for a chat before they abruptly hung up. I certainly won’t be keeping this number.

It's rather peculiar when someone rings up just to ask, "Is this a convenient moment for a chat?" only to hang up straight away.
I reckon they might just be trying to pique your interest and entice you into calling them back!

Absolutely! It’s quite evident that he thought I would be giving him a call again.
