On 27th July 2019, at precisely 15:07, I got a rather dubious call purporting to be from the BT Technical Department. The voice on the line stated that they were about to terminate my broadband service due to alleged hacking incidents linked to my IP address. They prompted me to hit 1 if I wished to speak to someone from BT, or 2 for alternative options. Quite the ruse, if you ask me!
