On Monday 13th Feb '24, I picked up the phone which I usually don't bother to do. A lady got on and asked for someone, but I can't remember the name she mentioned. I told her she'd got the wrong number and put the phone down straight away. I honestly thought it wasn't a scam 'cause the number was private. But then, the very next day (Tuesday 14th), they rang me back. I ignored it this time and decided to look the number up, this is what I found out.

Got a call from some guy claiming to be Vodafone, but the number showed up as a little shop called SPAR in Evesham. Bit strange since I live miles away from there. Fair guess they’re using some kinda spoofing trick to hide their real digits. Just spam, really.

Received a rather dodgy phone call regarding some unclaimed PPI reimbursement. Seems like yet another scam to me, as I’ve never even put in a claim for PPI in the first place!

I've received calls on my mobile from this number during the morning hours, specifically between 10 and 12, for the past three days. Each time, they hang up without leaving a message. I've no acquaintances in Evesham, so I've been ignoring these calls. It's high time I block them, as they clearly seem to be either cold callers or some sort of dodgy scam.
