For starters, the correspondence was addressed to my maiden name, which I haven’t used in nearly seven years. To top it off, I sold that car ages ago! Just goes to show how these scams work. Keep your wits about you, folks!

It's not a con; it's actually a firm working for the DVLA, attempting to collect what they're owed in terms of tax or fines. I've had bailiffs show up at my door, and I can assure you they are legitimate. However, they're not getting a penny from me! :)

I've been inundated with calls from this number and others like it, all purporting to be the DVLA chasing after a so-called 'debt'. I tend to steer clear of any calls from numbers that aren’t stored in my contacts. To add to that, I don’t even own a vehicle, and my phone number is listed with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s also worth mentioning that I've received a multitude of text messages from a company that goes by the name Cap Resolve. Despite blocking this number and various others, the relentless calls and messages just won’t let up.
