I can’t believe it, but that chap on the phone claimed to be from Vodafone and was trying to entice me with a discount for a contract I don’t even have! Ridiculous, really. I’ve since blocked the number.

I answered the call, but it was completely quiet on the other end. I suspect it might be Vodafone, as we've made some changes to our account lately. They tend to ring up afterwards, usually trying to pitch additional services, though I can't say for certain.
