I just had a rather curious phone call, where they insisted that I’m due an insurance payout ranging from £2000 to £4000 due to a car accident back in 2013. Naturally, when I pressed them on which company had shared my information, they were quite evasive, citing 'data protection' as their excuse. However, after a bit of persuasion, they dropped the name Swinton Insurance. I took the opportunity to clarify that I’ve never owned a car, nor do I possess a driving licence, and then, rather rudely, they ended the call. Honestly, it seemed like just another one of those relentless claims firms hunting for easy prey!
