Got a phone call from someone saying I could get £2000 to £4000 from an accident my car was apparently involved in back in 2013. They wouldn’t say which company passed on my details, hiding behind “data protection,” but after pressing them, they mentioned Swinton Insurance. When I told them to let Swinton know I’ve never owned or driven a car (no licence and all), the caller just went quiet and hung up. Feels like one of those dodgy ambulance chasers to me.
