I picked up the phone only to hear a pre-recorded message informing me that my visa card had supposedly been used to take out £600 from my bank account just moments ago. Quite alarmed, I hung up and gave it a moment before calling the number back, but I was met with an unobtainable signal. It seems to me this is a scam operating from a fresh number. Definitely a suspicious and risky contact to be wary of!
