Someone rang me pretending to be from Amazon, warning about some suspicious transactions on my account. They mentioned a purchase of over £1,000 and told me my account would be frozen unless I pressed certain keys to confirm or deny the payment. I ended the call straight away and got in touch with Amazon's official customer support. They confirmed it was definitely a scam and said they don’t make unsolicited calls like that.
