The call showed up as some sort of spam, so I just didn't bother answering and ended up blocking the number.

This guy claimed he was calling from O2, telling me that O2 and Vodafone were joining forces and that older SIM cards wouldn’t work with the new setup. I told him I wasn’t with those providers, so then he threw BT and EE into the mix. When I asked when my SIM would supposedly stop working, he said as soon as tomorrow. I told him to ring me back tomorrow and see if my phone still worked!
