I received a call from someone claiming to be connected to a car accident claims service purportedly linked to Direct Line. It quickly became apparent that he was an imposter posing as an insurance agent with the aim of acquiring my banking information.

I didnt pick up but saw it was marked as spam, which is good. Sometimes if you answer, you might end up with extra charges on your phone bill from those dropped calls. Best bet is to avoid calls from numbers you don't know. If it’s something really urgent, they’ll probably leave a voicemail anyway.
