The phone rang and as soon as I picked up, I just hung up straight away. Then I tried ringing back, and they said they were getting in touch because I’d supposedly got a PPI refund recently and they reckoned I was due more money. I told them I had no interest and there’s no way I was going to hand over all my personal info like they wanted.

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and I know my number isn’t in any directory or phonebook. Pretty odd, right?
