Got a call from someone named ‘Natasha’ claiming to do market research. She tried to pitch me loft insulation. When I asked which company she was with (I had to check since I’m on the phone preference list), she just replied ‘market research’ again and then ended the call on me. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

Someone rang up about insulation and said they’d got my info from my energy provider. But as far as I know, the government hasn’t properly announced the details of the new grant yet, and even then, people have to apply online themselves. So it seems fishy to me that a company just cold calls about it. Also, the official firms allowed to carry out the work haven’t been published yet. Feels like just another dodgy firm trying to charge for something you can actually sort out at no cost on your own.
