So today I got a call after I put in a request online to my gp surgery. Seemed legit and safe enough!

Got a call from the NHS regarding my blood test results, so definitely legit. This was part of their new system where some calls are handled through NHS 111 remotely. I initially called them myself and spoke to a really nice lady who helped me out a lot. After we finished the call and said goodbye, she rang me straight back on this number (0138488380) to get some extra info she’d forgotten to note down. Seems like a totally safe and genuine number to me.

Got a missed call in the middle of the night around 2am.

Received a call at 1:58 in the morning and another one at 4am. I didn’t pick up the first since I was fast asleep. Just as I was heading to the loo before the second call, I decided to find out why she thought it was appropriate to ring my number at such an ungodly hour, considering I’ve got a baby who will be stirring in a few hours. Instead of a sensible explanation, she took umbrage at my choice of words and abruptly hung up on me! Honestly, I’d been in a jolly mood all weekend, and she's rather fortunate that she didn’t catch me on a day when I might have given her a proper earful beyond just a bit of swearing.
