I've been inundated with calls from this particular number lately. It appears to be some clown masquerading as an official from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. Clearly a scam artist, as HMRC never operates in this manner. I've now blocked the number for good measure.

Received a message urging me to put my money into Bitcoin-apparently they needed £250 sent to them electronically. Sounds rather dodgy, don’t you think? Could very well be a scam.

Hello! I'm sorry to learn about your experience. It seems to me that this website might not have the means to halt those pesky calls. If you're with certain phone providers, you might be able to block unwanted callers. It could be worth giving them a bell. Be wary of any unsolicited offers from callers; it’s wise to request a callback number or an email. More often than not, that seems to deter them.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who sounded really confused. She kept mumbling something about PPI compensation and then just suddenly stopped talking like she’d lost her place or didn’t know what to say next, and then she just cut the call. Quite odd really.

I got a call from a recorded Indian lady asking if she was talking to Mrs. (c._some name I don’t really recognise). I just hung up straight away. These calls have been happening to me for years now. They keep ringing a few times each week and it goes on for weeks. Honestly, feels like they have some kinda schedule or routine, annoying how much time they waste doing next to nothing.

I got a call from someone who claimed they were ringing about my * Aviva life insurance. I asked them to clarify which one they meant, but there was this awkward pause. Then out of nowhere, they just told me to "F off, f off." I couldn't help but fire back a few colourful words before they cut me off.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, saying they had money for my in-laws. They said they didn’t need card details, just bank info. Luckily, my in-laws caught on quick and told them no. Even after that, the number kept ringing them over and over. Quite annoying!

Had a ring from 01384 881109 earlier, some bloke with an Indian accent asking if I was (gave name) and claiming to be with the National Lottery. I said I was but told him to remove my number from their list since I wasn’t fussed. Then I ended up blocking the number. Quite annoying!
