I got a call from some automated message claiming to be from TalkTalk's tech support saying my internet would be cut off that day if I didn’t press 1. I just ended the call straight away and ignored it.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was with BT, telling me my internet and landline might get disconnected. He gave me a couple of choices: press ‘1’ to sort it or hit ‘2’ for some other option. Sounded dodgy to me.

got a call from someone claiming i should own shares, sounded dodgy. its not the first time ive had these kind of calls and they usually try to get your private info out of you. from what ive seen online, if you go on with it, they'll probably ask you to send cash to some escrow account or something fishy like that.
