just got a call again from 01384619361 claiming to be bt, saying that someone in the usa had hacked my info. when i said yes, he started calling me a f##king idiot (i'm not even a bt customer, so that was off). really dodgy bunch, wouldnt trust them with anything. definitely marking this number as risky.

Had this fake BT number ring me loads of times, so in the end I just decided to block it.

Picked up the phone but nobody replied. Tried calling again and it just said the number isn’t valid anymore. Sounds like another scammy bunch to me, probably just after their share and trying to shove it down your throat.

Got a call from them today out of the blue. Been getting loads of calls like this on and off for the past two days. Except for one, they keep ringing me up from different numbers each time.

Someone called me pretending to be an engineer from BT, sounded alright at first! They asked me to download a BT app from some ‘BT community’ website. The call came from the number 01852729475 too. Seemed a bit off to me.
