Got a call from this number, seemed legit at first, but then it turned out some phishing lot took over and pretended to be BT offering to sort out my internet. Don’t fall for it. Afterwards, they rang me back but showed up as ‘number withheld’ which felt even dodgier.

got a call from this number earlier, said they were from bt and wanted to sort out some internet issues. they asked me to sign into my pc and look up some website, but they didn’t have my name or any bt account details. their voice sounded like a typical call centre, and i felt really iffy about it, so i just hung up thinking it might be a phishing scam.
