I picked up and all I got was silence, then the call just ended. After I hung up, my phone wouldn’t let me make any calls for a few minutes. Tried checking voicemail with 1471 but it didn’t work. Had to wait like half an hour before everything started working again. Very odd.

Got myself one of those BT call blocker phones and it caught this number dead on last Thursday, 5th October, about 6.45pm. Honestly, best buy I’ve made in ages - no more random calls ringing through because the caller gets stopped right away. Can’t recommend it enough!

A woman with a really hard-to-follow accent rang me saying she was calling all boiler owners for British Gas and some other companies, offering a boiler service for around £6. Problem is, she had no idea what kind of service I already have, so how could she honestly say that? I just hung up straight away. The number she called from was 01384554945.

this number keeps ringing me at silly hours, so today i finally picked up to find out who it was. it turned out to be someone trying to convince me i didn’t have a gas boiler and offering a cheaper plan for one at just £6.95 a month, really pushing it hard. problem is, we live in a village without any gas connection! and i can swear, he wasn’t even calling from dudley or anywhere near.

Got a call from this number just now. After a short silence, a woman with a foreign accent asked if I was Mrs Jones. I ended the call straight away, knowing it was probably just another annoying telemarketer. I could hear some other voices faintly in the background too.
