Recliner Bed Company - - - - When I wanted to ask about something, they made me give them my mobile number first. I also sent them a message asking if they could send a catalogue by post for my grandad who’s 94. Ever since I made that enquiry about a week ago, I keep getting calls every day, so I’ve had to block a bunch of numbers.

I was just trying to find some info on adjustable beds from this recliner place in Dudley, and since they don’t list prices on their website, I asked for a brochure. Trouble is, I never got one through the post. Instead, they’ve been ringing me like crazy - sometimes 3 or 4 times daily - even after I blocked the number. This started back in November and it’s still happening now it’s January. They seriously don’t stop pestering. Honestly, do yourself a favour and just block and steer clear to keep your peace of mind!

Recliner factory in Dudley - what a nightmare! I ended up having to reach out to trading standards plus two different ombudsmen over nearly two years just to get my money back because they sold me something under false pretences. So, I came across an ad on telly for Recliner Factory and checked out their site to figure out their prices. After dropping my info, I got a message saying they'd ring me up, which I wasn’t keen on - just wanted the price really. I had a chat with them today; they were quite polite but said they only offer demos at your home and won't give prices over the phone since the chairs are custom-made. I’m guessing once they’re at your place, they might push a bit to get a sale. Bit of a shame, their chairs do look nice though.

Back in August, I called this firm to ask about prices for a recliner chair for my dad. I told them I’d get in touch if I decided to buy one. Since then, they’ve called me 77 times! Even after I blocked their number, the calls didn’t stop. I rang them today to ask them to quit bothering me, but the woman on the other end was really rude. She said they were within their rights to keep calling unless I told them to stop. I barely got a word in, and she insisted I close the inquiry or they’d carry on ringing. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Fingers crossed the calls end now.

If you pick up and hear nothing, make sure you report it to Ofcom as a silent call. This number just keeps ringing and I reckon it’s linked to a recliner chair company. Last night, while I was browsing for a trusted recliner brand online, a popup appeared offering 50% off and asked me to fill a form for more info. I accidentally filled it out, thinking it was legit. Once I realised it was a fake, I sent several messages telling them to stop contacting me. Despite that, this number has been ringing nonstop this morning, hanging up whenever I try to leave a message. I’ve reported them to Ofcom again; turns out it’s the very same number I flagged before.
